To peel specialty onions: plunge into boiling water for 1 to 2 minutes, then chill in ice water. Trim roots if necessary in order to squeeze out of skin.
Store all product in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area.
My husband bought a bag of the Gold Onions while away camping…. he peeled each one by hand (not the boiling method). Maybe the peeling instructions should be on the bag for people who aren’t familiar on how to prepare them.
